Summary
Those who believe in us give their sturdy hand until we can catch up - and we do, so we can help the next one.
Note
Several Christmases ago my brother Paul gave me a copy of his favorite book: The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy.
It has become my daily habit to select a page from the book to help guide me through my day.
Here is one of my favorites:
“Sometimes I think you believe in me more than I do,” said the boy.
“You’ll catch up,” said the horse
You feel it, too, don’t you? That same sense that we rely on another’s sturdy hand until we are ready to see and believe what they see and believe in us. We will catch up. We do catch up. And, then we can offer our sturdy hand to another. Because "Each One Lift One!" is how we roll here!
